Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Servlet API is unavailable

This rule flags Java code that has references to the following packages when your target application server is Liberty Core:

• javax.servlet.sip
• javax.servlet.sip.ar
• javax.servlet.sip.ar.spi
• javax.servlet.sip.annotation
• com.ibm.websphere.sip

This rule also flags the following references in the sip.xml file:

• <sip-app></sip-app>

Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Servlet API and its deployment descriptors are not supported on Liberty Core. In other editions of Liberty, you can add support for SIP APIs and deployment descriptors by enabling the sipServlet-1.1 feature in the Liberty server configuration.
