Class Change

    • Method Detail

      • changeType

        public final String changeType()

        Change types are single string values that describe your intention for the change. Each change type is unique for each EntityType provided in the change's scope. For more information on change types available for single-AMI products, see Working with single-AMI products. Also, for more information about change types available for container-based products, see Working with container products.

        Returns:

      • entity

        public final Entity entity()

        The entity to be changed.

        Returns:
        The entity to be changed.
      • hasEntityTags

        public final boolean hasEntityTags()
        For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the EntityTags property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.
      • entityTags

        public final List<Tag> entityTags()

        The tags associated with the change.

        Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

        This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasEntityTags() method.

        Returns:
        The tags associated with the change.
      • details

        public final String details()

        This object contains details specific to the change type of the requested change. For more information about change types available for single-AMI products, see Working with single-AMI products. Also, for more information about change types available for container-based products, see Working with container products.

        Returns:

        public final Document detailsDocument()

        Alternative field that accepts a JSON value instead of a string for ChangeType details. You can use either Details or DetailsDocument, but not both.

        Returns:
