cluster

public final String cluster()

The name of the cluster to modify the settings for.

Returns:

The name of the cluster to modify the settings for.

hasSettings

public final boolean hasSettings()

For responses, this returns true if the service returned a value for the Settings property. This DOES NOT check that the value is non-empty (for which, you should check the isEmpty() method on the property). This is useful because the SDK will never return a null collection or map, but you may need to differentiate between the service returning nothing (or null) and the service returning an empty collection or map. For requests, this returns true if a value for the property was specified in the request builder, and false if a value was not specified.

settings

public final List<ClusterSetting> settings()

The setting to use by default for a cluster. This parameter is used to turn on CloudWatch Container Insights for a cluster. If this value is specified, it overrides the containerInsights value set with PutAccountSetting or PutAccountSettingDefault.

Currently, if you delete an existing cluster that does not have Container Insights turned on, and then create a new cluster with the same name with Container Insights tuned on, Container Insights will not actually be turned on. If you want to preserve the same name for your existing cluster and turn on Container Insights, you must wait 7 days before you can re-create it.

Attempts to modify the collection returned by this method will result in an UnsupportedOperationException.

This method will never return null. If you would like to know whether the service returned this field (so that you can differentiate between null and empty), you can use the hasSettings() method.
